Project engineers (m/f)
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Planning, monitoring and project management within time, budget and quality contractual constraints, ensuring economic success
- Project structuring, planning and time management
- Use of resources, i.e. planning and deployment of employees and resources within the project
- Contract management, i.e. management of contractual changes, claims management and contract performance management with project partners
- Risk management, i.e. documentation and evaluation of risk within the project and among project partners
Education
- Educated to degree level in electrical, mechanical or process control engineering
Knowledge / Language Skills
- Knowledge of the automotive industry desirable
- Technical or process knowledge in the field of paint-spraying desirable
- Sound knowledge of project management
- Specialist knowledge of materials handling technology or process technology, as well as, ideally, one of the following: information technology, communication technology or buildings technology
- Fluent German and English
- Other languages desirable
- Knowledge of contract negotiation and management desirable
Experience
- Several years’ experience of plant construction
- Experience of project leadership
- Experience in the management of project teams
- Experience in working with international teams and customers
Abilities
- Results-oriented
- Team player
- Decision-making abilities
- Ability to analyze
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Initiative
